Well written Legolas romance - a needle in a haystack?
I've been fic searching. I should have known when I started that looking for a particular Legolas romance was like looking for a needle in a whole field of haystacks. I'm fairly sure I'd never read a fic involving ' the shieldmaiden Rowannen' but beyond that I'm stumped.

However, I'm going to put the description out there just in case. I know the following.

- I read it around 2002-2003. A long time ago.
- It was probably a sequel, or failing that, a very long fic.
- It was pretty explicit, especially for poor innocent fourteen year old me back then.
- It was het (gasp!)
- I think Legolas and his mystery woman (I think she was a woman - she definately wasn't an elf or dwarf. Perhaps a maia of some sort?) were staying in Gondor
- There was a balcony involved
- There was jealousy at some point, but I can't remember why
- They were married or about to get married.
- It was not by Nebride. I reread all hers, sure that the woman in question was Alede, but no luck.


And just in case this turns into a lucky day and someone knows what this is, I also started reading a fic on legolasgreenleaf.com before it went down. The guy writing it said it would go up on ff.net but I never found it. It started off with Legolas and Gimli in Mirkwood, about to go off on an adventure, and a woman (enter love interest) trapped in a pit somewhere by an unnamed evil presence, being eaten by rats. The fun never stops :D
